BSK-H Medium, Sterile Filtered, 500 ml

BSK-H Medium is a specialized, highly enriched growth medium designed for the cultivation of Borrelia species, including Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease. This modified Barbour-Stoenner-Kelly formulation supports the slow growth of Borrelia under microaerophilic conditions, enabling effective laboratory propagation of these fastidious spirochetes. The medium is supplied without rabbit serum and contains phenol red as a pH indicator.
