About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Officer to support our warehouse and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of materials and products while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring the timely movement of goods within the organization.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare and dispatch materials and products accurately and on time
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Assist in tracking inventory movement and stock rotation
Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Maintain warehouse logs, delivery notes, and inventory records
- Update inventory systems and warehouse databases
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is accurate and properly filed
- Support audit and compliance activities through proper documentation
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
- Ensure compliance with GMP, health, safety, and environmental requirements where applicable
- Report damaged materials, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, QA, and Logistics teams
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters during deliveries and dispatches
- Support efficient material flow to production and operational departments
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory operations
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG industries is an advantage
Required Skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience (where applicable)
- Knowledge of GMP and warehouse compliance practices
- Spoken German and English
